1. Content. To start a blog you need yourself, I mean you should know what you are going to do with your blog. What is your blog content.
2. Name. A new blog need name. Others will know a blog with the name. As rule of thumb, let the name express the content of the new blog.
3. Domain. Domain is like a street name in our mailing address. What is the address of your new blog at the Internet ? Your new blog domain name should express your blog name. Example of domain name is google.com, or yahoo.com, or john.net.
4. Place. Like your house, a new blog needs a place to 'live'. It needs a host. There are many hosts that is not expensive, even there are hosts that free.
5. Design. What it looks like ? A page design is important
6. Posts. You need to post the article. But you know best what is you know best.
7. Advestise. People should know your blog, so tell your friends
